It had been an especially busy week and I was looking forward to a rare, relaxing weekend. At 4PM Friday my best sales representative delivered a crushing blow – he was leaving me for our largest competitor! Even though he loved his job and our small company culture, he had a family to consider. The benefits packaged from my competitor included many features not offered by me, such as a matching 401k, flexible spending accounts, and disability, as well as nice medical plan options.
